12:00 - 12:10 | Welcome
We will start the afternoon with a warm welcome and introduction.
12:10 - 12:30 | What is COP29? Context and background
Hear from the Belgian UN youth delegates for UNFCCC and discover how COP29 will shape global climate policy.
12:30 - 12:45 | Benjamin Van Bunderen Robberechts - Climate Justice for Rosa
Benjamin will share his insights on climate justice and inspire with his activism and experiences at previous climate conferences.
12:45 - 13:00 | Jakob Cleymans - COOP CENTRAAL
Jakob, a student-entrepreneur, will talk about his work at COOP CENTRAAL, a cooperative and sustainable supermarket contributing to a fairer and greener economy.
13:00 - 16:00 | Workshop: Crafting Recommendations for COP29
The afternoon will be filled with an interactive workshop led by Globelink. Together, we will formulate recommendations for Belgian and international policymakers. Daan Vandenberghe and Gaëtan De Baene, UN youth representatives, will take our recommendations and powerful (visual) statements to COP29 in Baku, ensuring our voices are heard loud and clear.
